The training and research programs at Rafael Viñoly Architects were launched in 2005 to generate architectural knowledge that is informed by practice yet exceeds the limits of commissioned work.
During my tenure as a Creative Director at Rafael Viñoly Architects in New York, I redesigned the RVATR graphic identity. A key component of the identity was the creation of the T and R symbols. By assigning the green and blue color codes, RVA communicates Training or Research initiatives and events with an overall consistency but also very distinctively. The graphic identity is also applied to the RVATR website.
The website was built in HTML and powered by a content management system (CMS). The CMS allows multiple contributors to upload content using a familiar web based interface.
