INPS - Historical Archive

A guide book by Prof. Alexandra Kolega

Istituto Nazionale Previdenza Sociale (INPS), the National Social Security Institute in Italy, is the main social security organization and issues pensions to 16.5 million people annually. The Institute also provides other services, such as unemployment benefits and many types of aid administered by the Ministry of Welfare, making the total number of constituents being served 35 million.

Prof. Alexandra Kolega of the Soprintendenza Archivista per il Lazio, asked us to design a book documenting the historical archives of this important institution.

This is the first publication of its kind.
