Lorenzo Ottaviani, AIGA

A graduate of Istituto Europeo di Design in Rome, Italy, Lorenzo furthered his studies at School of Visual Arts -NY with two American masters of graphic design: Tony Palladino (PSYCHO) and Milton Glaser (I Love NY).

Lorenzo also leads the graphic design and publishing efforts of some of the best known names in contemporary architecture such as Rafael Viñoly for whom he curated books, redesigned the marketing literature system and website.

Lorenzo began his career in Rome at the renowned studio of Pier Paolo Scalera, assisting Mr. Scalera in creating some of the most iconic Italian movie posters.

Lorenzo is a published author. His book Travel Italia: The Golden Age of Italian Travel Posters, was published worldwide by Abrams.

He is also the co-author of Midcentury House Today published by The Monacelli Press.

Lorenzo’s work has been recognized with multiple awards including the prestigious Graphis Gold Award in three different categories.

His work has been featured in Vanity Fair, New York Magazine, Print, and Architectural Digest.
